We as owners will never get a straight answer from the OEM on what they are doing, the problem etc.

They want the younger crowd, the aftermarket support and enthusiast and press attention? It all comes at a cost, their owners are going to expect a high level of service and transparency Toyota and Subaru are not equipped to provide at this point.
Our goal is to have Subaru of America ACKNOWLEDGE that there is a problem. They have not done so. Yet.

Both of our engines saw "easy" break-ins. Low load, low RPM. It was miserable.

or did I get it wrong?

oh and that disclaimer "..I'm not accusing you of being dishonest..." really doesn't sound sincere
Congratulations, is post is the biggest waste of time in this thread.

I don't see an accusation there at all. I'm also not here to defend myself against post whores who add nothing to the discussion. Got better things to do.

Then you must be blind.

Oh, so I'm a post whore who added nothing to the discussion? Go back and read the first few replies to Mike's thread junior.

Regardless of your professional endeavors, at least as you claim them to be (because your profile is gospel truth, lol), you have a blind allegiance to the manufacturers here, that is clear to many...

"Got better things to do", then why do you keep replying?

And yet somehow, we did just fine without you.

I am an asset. I personally arranged for and assisted with the development of 50+ new parts for our platform...what have you done? Nothing.

Your failure to address any of my statements has not been overlooked. You sure like to dish but you can't take anything can you?

It is mildly amusing to watch you continue to make a fool of yourself

As far as the search is concerned, here's the thing. They're all HPDE events. There is not a single time competition video of the BRZ. They're all videos of my s2k. Unless using a personal timing device (as pictured, suction cupped onto the windshield) makes it competitive.

That 5th link is... interesting.
Mike, my question about the ECU in post 112 is a sincere one. I really don't know much about them, especially the forensics side. I had assumed that Subaru had already checked yours out. If this is a manufacturer issue, we all hope they get to the bottom of it and make it right ASAP. We are all owners, after all.
