Manual Fan Override Switch
Hello everyone. I wanted to see if anyone knows how to wire a switch that turns on the fans even when the car is off. Basically I’m looking to do this because my car is a track build and I want to be able to leave the fans on to cool off the engine after sessions. Thanks!

i believe most people connect a switch to some wires
there's been some rumors about wireless switches lately, but i think they're just blowing smoke.

Yes, but which wires do you connect the wires to? Do you run the switch straight to the fans? Do you connect it to some wires running to the A/C controls?

per here, starting at page 338:
http://www.ft86club.com/files/BRZwiringi.pdf both trigger wires(positive and negative) off the relay go into different magic black boxes *my initial impression is that the system is switched negative, with a ign-controlled feed, but the black boxes don't allow me to confirm that easily. if that were true, you would require both a constant power into the relay trigger, as well as adding wire to switch the ground leading away from the relay. so i would suggest running an external relay and switch setup directly off the battery-- my initial impression/assumption of the existing system operation would require 50% of that work anyways.
