Sandwich plate - oil temp reading "accuracy"

Hi all - quick question for the users with temp / pressure gauges.

I've got some prosport gauges coming in and have decided to use the galley plug for pressure. I already have NPT ports on my oil cooler's thermostatic plate and was wondering if using this location for my oil temp sender would be "accurate" compared to the stock sender?

Thanks!

I left my Scangauge plugged in for a day or two after installing my gauges to see what kind of variance there was. I didn't see more than one or two degrees difference from eachother.

I'm assuming your gauge senders were installed at the sandwich plate? Thanks!
