I do like the Scion bumper much better but that's not worth the extra $2,500 people will have to pay for this car.

the worst part is paying for all the rice lighted badges and know.

I can't get one out of the state.

i also think that this kind of release is pretty contradictory to the whole moving scion upscale idea.

Exactly, replacements. Not true that they wont be having it. They're coming, you'll just have to wait. FR-S > BRZ.

If you want any of the goodies, your best bet always has been and will be to buy a BRZ Limited.
Well, I was comparing it to early Scion paint which is terrible, super thin and not durable.

The shift knob in my opinion should light up red to compliment the whole car. Whatever i'm not a big fan of the push button. This just means that im going to have to mod my car even more.

It will be interesting to see how the dealer allcations will work with this. Considering the number of dealers, and the limited run of 2500 cars. I wonder if some bigger dealers will be able to get multiples, and smaller ones might no get any.

I will be re-badging as Toyota, replacing the shift knob, and stripping out the light-up dash logo. After a recent visit to Toyota Motorsports in Torrance to see the new celebrity race cars, I'm sold on the new US TRD wheels they are using. The sizing looks perfect, they felt surprisingly light for 18s, and the black will go nicely with the color.
Congrats on your impending purchase. I'm sending you a PM

LOL to those who's going to trade-in their FRS for the 10 series, with the price difference and the depreciation of a trade-in, they gonna lose at least a few good grand$.

The depreciation won't be that bad. They haven't even announced the the 2014 models. So it's still the only model year out, and the car is in high demand making it an easy sale for most dealerships.

I'm waiting for the first BRZ Premium owner to switch to an FR-S 10 Series.

It's Scion so they can't mark it up because it goes against Pure Pricing.

The only car I would trade-in my FR-S for would be a turbo/supercharged model.

I would happily eat the depreciation for a factory, forced-induction car.

I don't know about your area, but some scion dealers in my area does the mark up. They also installed some ridiculous add-on to jack up the price.

Subaru brz is shit in socal. Every dealer marks the shit up. I wonder when they will sell the car at msrp.

As soon as the cars quit selling at the prices that they are going for today.

Add on's are different. If the MSRP of the FR-S Anniversary edition is 28k, then they have to sell it for 28k. If they decide to add on the Five Axis Kit and rims, then of course the price will change....

Subaru don't have pure pricing so they can mark up to what ever they want. Subaru dealers in my area marked up the BR-Z $5,000 over MSRP , that is why I picked scion so I didn't have to deal with that shit. I didn't need leather, that shitty nav system, HIDs or the spoiler. I already had plans of my own.

This is NOT true and has been said many times. Pure Pricing is an obligation toward the CUSTOMER to pay the advertised price. The dealer can adjust the price of the car depending on "market conditions".....fancy way of saying "we can mark up the car because it is in high demand". The only rule is that the customer cant negotiate the price that the DEALER DECIDES.

TL;DR : They CAN have a market adjustment price increase WITHOUT add-ons.
