Fog lights lens issue
Hi everyone,
So my car has the OEM fog lights, which are glass. I put a piece of colored tint on it to protect it from chipping and to give it some color. Today I noticed the tint was changing colors with a burnt color- so I tried to peel it off but only portions of it came off. The rest are still on the light and I cannot seem to remove it- if I do, I need to use my nails and dig deep into it and only tiny pieces come out. I've tried alcohol and goo gone but no luck. Any thoughts on what else to use? Thanks |

Razor blade sounds like the only solution.

Acetone (nail polish remover) will usually dissolve any adhesive, either that, try denatured alcohol, or heat as brzd says.

I put some acetone and left it on the light and after 20 mins or so, I put some pressure with my nails and it came off! Then used goo gone to wipe off rest of residue. Thanks!
