Don't get me wrong, I realize maintenance costs and insurance costs and such will be more than the RS. But it just kind of irks me to know I could have gotten a whole lot more car for just a bit more. Relatively, of course. The RS is practical af. im interested to see what used prices a year or two down the line are like. But I don't think I'd buy one new, purely because of the MSRP. Also very interested to hear what the long term reviews are like from people on here who have bought one.
Well since Canada probably got like 10 of them I wouldn't hold my breath on the price going down much.

That was the same thing I ran into when looking into the Golf R. The R is a fantastic car, but the standard GTI is already so good, that it's hard to justify the extra $10,000. Especially for an "AWD" system that is rarely ever actually AWD.

The STI was the same, but a lot more is given for the premium over the standard WRX, so it made the decision easier.

I knew this was just a matter of time with the new RS though. What's funny is that the video has been made private now lol

Quite a few up there. Don't know the exact number but it's quite a bit more than 10

LOL Of course we did. Was pure exaggeration for effect. I still don't see them dropping in price very fast.

So intercooler and a massive oil cooler have been delivered for my RS. I will hopefully get them installed and then I can really track the car. Oil temp pegged 300 degrees in 3 laps at sebring in the Florida heat and humidity
