NorCal GT5 online

I know @PMok plays, but does anyone else race GT5?

If so put your PSN name here so we can get some racing going. Mine is the same as my forum name.

I think @overlookedx plays sometimes.

It would be awesome if we could get a group of drivers together virtually... lol track days at Laguna Seca, Spa Francorchamps, Nurburgring...

yeah my PSN name is PMok.

I'm interested. Let me get mine together, err get the wheel and mount out of storage, and play again.

WHAT A BUNCH OF NERDS! lol, j/k, sounds like fun, name is the same: bigfatflip (both on PSN and XBL)

Haven't touched GT5 is a really long time, but would be nice to play with people I know (instead of trash talking 13 year olds). Need to dust off my G25 set-up, sure I'll get alot of eyerolls from my wife when I do.

Also play the dirt series (PSN) and Forza (on XBL) once in a while, if anybody is into that.

I don't play much, even less online. I've got the racing wheel setup. Mostly I use it for F1 2010 though (yes, I never upgraded).

I'm definitely down for Laguna Seca. It's the only track I drive on GT5, literally.

PSN s/n is thingswecarry

Haha B, I'm into that...racing cars and motogp! Only thing, all my games are in storage and the ps3 and xb are currently full of shooting games my boys play. I don't play his games, too violent lol

Lol, I'd be down for that. I don't play any racing games. I only have a violent shooting game and Netflix. But I can pick up a used copy and play with the big boys.

Oh man, you are going to get addicted!

Must play with a wheel though, not the controller! This at the bare minimum: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-PlayStation-Driving-Force-Racing-3/dp/B0015HYPOO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1372193828&sr=8-2&keywords=logitech+wheel"]Amazon.com: Logitech PlayStation 3 Driving Force GT Racing Wheel: Video Games[/ame]

G27 if you're a big spender/baller: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-941-000045-G27-Racing-Wheel/dp/B001NT9TK4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1372193828&sr=8-1&keywords=logitech+wheel"]Amazon.com: Logitech G27 Racing Wheel: Electronics[/ame]

I mean technically you don't have to have a wheel and pedals, it just makes it a lot more fun.

That being said I realize it's hard to spend money for equipment for racing virtual cars instead of for FR-S mods!

I have the older wheel and pedals set, 1 gen behind the Driving Force GT, the Driving Force Pro. Works great with GT5 though it may not be 100% compatible with other PS3 games, I had it since GT4/PS2. Probably <$100 for one now on Amazon. Bet you could find one cheap on craigslist as well, lots of guys "grow up" and don't have time to play anymore so they gather dust in the closet haha.

I have a dedicated "game room" so if anyone ever wants to come over and bring their console/wheel/monitor (I have a small 25" widescreen monitor to lend if that is sufficient for you) we can do some serious wheel to wheel gaming haha.

I also have the DFPro and I NEVER use mine. If someone wants it, It tried selling it for like $75 before and got a bunch of craiglist lowballer replies as well as some "wanna trade for a remote control car" BS. So if someone wants that let me know. It also comes with the "crotch buster" lower attachment.

PSN name is Denkigrve but I hardly play GT any longer.
