2012 Toyota Yaris
Yaris has been a cartoonized looking vehicle since it first launch in the market. It's about to change when next generation Yaris hit the market late next year. From the leaked image, Yaris gains more aggressive styling and upgraded interior. From the inside, it loses the center gauge and gains 2 tone color interior. Steering wheel, as any other new Toyotas Scions and Lexuses, is a huge improvement over the current model. From the outside, Yaris has got the newest Toyota's design language with meaner looking.

It's Vitz in the other market... The current generate design is really weak. Not to mention safety rating of Yaris in the states. Now NHTSA's rating is tightened and Carmy got just 3 stars which the 2nd from the bottom of overall tested cars. That's said, Changing in design and name are not enough to make car appeal to buyers, but Toyota need to make the car meet safety rating at least 3 or 4 Star. Consumers nowadays need a safer and more reliable car than styling and 0-60sec. Er Speaking of 0-60, maybe only us, car freaks, need to see that. |

Man I wish my Yaris looked like that. One thing I really do hope they change is the engine since although my car weighs around 2300 lbs that 109 HP engine it has isn't doing it any favors in the power department.

The Vitz RS is the Shiznit and the modellista kit looks good. In regular form, the last gen looks 10x better. Just YUK.
The interior is ok, the center console definitely needs help though. C'mon Toyota, WTF?!?!? p.d. Don't hate on the Vitz.....er yaris. It's the GT Starlet's baby brother...err son... er... something like that. lol. |

the vitz RS in japan and europe have had 1.8L turbo, that's notable for a 2400lb car.
i must say, with styling like that: it will be on its way out of production soon! haha

No, It came with a 1.5 NA standard, the Turbo was optional from the TRD catalog though. The T-Sports available in europe were available with a 1.8L 130hp engine.
