New car and driver lightning lap.. A BRZ got its ass handed to it by everything but a fiat 500, a focus st, and a Chevy cop car.. Every thing else got us, even the genesis coupe by 5 seconds.. A dodge charger police car even was faster.. So please don't fool yourself with all this once the road gets curvy the twins would spank any ass lol.. These cars are not the fastest thing on the street lol

The LL track is hardly a tight "curvy" track.

And besides, anyone who compares cars based on a mag comparo doesn't really understand competitive racing much and is far too concerned with ego instead enjoyment of cars.

It's a power track.. And it's not a camparo .. It's the fastest the car can go around the track article.. And the twin didn't do to well.... At that track...

How about Laguna..
BRZ. 1:51.3
Other cars that are in the ll test that was in the drivers cars test
C63 AMG black. 1:38.9
Camaro ZL1. 1:39.2
Shelby GT500. 1:38.7
Jag XKR-s. 1:42.9
911 Carrera S. 1:39.3

Of course these cars should be much much faster then a twin.. But the result is the same.. Our car is not close.. This was posted I. Response to how people think that once a curve comes up things change.. In reality they don't.. It's all up to drivers skill of course.. I passed a couple C6 vetted and even stayed on a C6 Z06 bumper at the streets of willow.. That was all driver.. Not the car.. And it was my first time ever on a track in a car.. I've only done bikes before then.. I completely agree with how much fun our cars are.. I wouldn't trade mine for anything else that I could afford.. But to say the twin would stomp a mustang is just false.. Beat the driver of the mustang.. Yes.. But not the car..

Yeah try living in the mustang capitol of the world...detroit. Some kind of hell. Mustangs, CTS-V's, Camaros, Challengers/chargers.... all trying to race me.

Enjoy the car for what it is: a simple, back to basics sports car that can be modified or upgraded to personal requirements. A blank canvas .

It's not a muscle car or an exotic, but a great handling little car.

That actually sounds pretty cool. Tbh if I could afford an srt8 challenger, I wouldn't be driving an FRS

And I don't remember Dodge having to pay millions of dollars in lawsuit settlements because of a faulty product.

Paying a law suit has NOTHING to do with needing the government to keep your doors open. Come on now... you are comparing apples and green beans...

ALL THE TAX PAYERS IN AMERICA are paying for that TARP money that dodge and chevy borrowed. And the car is assembled in america, but all the parts are outsourced... qualifying to me as just as much an import and toyota.

My friend owns a Mustang, drove an FRS and loves how light and nimble it was. He had never driven a car that fun. The FRS belongs to a friend with a Miata who is now putting an Fb18 in it and also said the FRS felt like the Complete car
