I got accosted by 6 people on my 1st Starbucks visit, 2 of them had orders placed but had never seen the car live. After that I started counting the number of people that would check out the FR-S while I had my coffee, highest count 25 on a Sunday afternoon.

Enjoy everyday...

I bought an SRT-4 back in July of 2003. The attention the FR-S gets is nothing compared to that. I literally had other drivers around us nearly getting into accidents due to staring...we were at a four way stop once and we (wife and I) both watched a guy cruise right through the intersection just staring away...

I'm pleasantly surprised at the little amount of attention the FR-S is getting...

Had a couple guys in an ambulance drive semi-aggressively and then pull next to me and the passenger EMS guy was like holy shit what car is that. Then he kept repeating it to himself like he wanted to remember it so maybe he wanted to get one.

I was driving yesterday and noticed a G37 catch up to me and follow me. I stopped paying attention to him. 2 min Later stopped to meet buddies for wing night and when i first sat on the patio I noticed the same guy in the 37 had parked beside me and was checking my car out. He was doing the whole walk around. I think he was jealous that his expensive car doesn't look as good as my FR-S

same here.
it doesnt matter where i go. Im so paranoid to drive anywhere. the first week of June when i picked mine up , i was on the way to work and two nuts almost rear-ended some people in CA traffic just trying to catch up or just look at it - after a few day, i literally just left the car at home and took the beater for a few wks cause it was just way too much. you would think i was justin beeiber in his expensive car.. on the hwy.. but i get what you mean !

Yupper...the attention the FR-S/BRZ gets is nothing like that was...and be careful with the "skittles" cause they'll whoop the shit out of an FR-S/BRZ...even if it has Toyota badges on it...

Well FR-S's are slow......... heavier.......... and have less power and not boosted. I would never expect it to win against a Neon SRT4.

SRT-4's were actually a little heavier than the FR-S/BRZ...

Oh, someone told me they were like 2400lbs. I haven't started following 4 cylinder cars until recently.

Earlier Neon's were around 2400 pounds...once the SRT-4's came out, they were up to about 2900 pounds...of course most of that weight gain came from the spoiler...

j/k

Good lord, they should've kept it around 2500lbs. It would be much faster.

Not sure how they would have managed that without bumping up the price. It was already a pretty bare bones car...manual roll down back windows and all...
