Prime is dealing with their busy season as well, and had a few cars already being worked on ahead of him by the time it got there.

I realize that. Brandon told me he would have the car back in 3 weeks when he shipped it there. I don't know where he got that estimate from. I am confident Prime will get the car running properly eventually.

This is ridiculous already.. Wtf is the issue now? Isn't there a vendor out there capable of fixing this guys car in a reasonable amount of time?
After the BS he went through with FA20club you would think the vendor would be sensitive to time and getting this guys car back on the road.
I know there are unseen circumstances and what nots.. but the bottom line is it's been months already.. Seems like more of the same.. You would think someone would step up and get it done already.
Watching this drama unfold has certainly cured me of wanting to modify my car and the possibility of having to deal with vendors and shit like this.. No thanks.
Enough excuses already.. Just get it done.. !

Or do your own installs and just take it somewhere for a tune.

I think the tune is equally, if not more difficult/important than the mechanical install. It's like being a strong, muscular athlete with absolutely no balance or motor skills - you can't apply any of it!

It is infinitely more important than the install. Any kit can be installed perfectly, in your driveway or at a shop, but you get the wrong guy to tune it can blow up before you even get to drive it.

I understand your frustration from reading the entire saga, I know if i was in that same situation i'd have lost it, but i would never want prime to simply rush this car back on the road. the OP deserves to have it done right so he never has to do it again and that takes time.
My point is to do it right.. First You have to do it!
They knew this guy has already been abused and thru the wringer with the other vendor. So why take it on only to do more of the same?
I don't know the agreement they have or if Brandon is ok with the time schedule.
I'm just saying... from what I know ... that it's been dragging on for some time now, again. I hope it's going well for him and my concerns are not justified.
I was around when he first reported his engine problem after the initial install.. Just want to see this guy back in his new car someday.

They had to overnight parts from japan...and the ford lightning is broke down at the sandwich shop.

I don't get it. Your upset because the shop didn't put all their other customers who were in front of the line behind to finish his first? It's also not their fault they got a bucket of parts, and no doubt had to redo the WHOLE car from the looks of it. Time, money, communication, shape of the car in entirety: it's all unknown variables.

I don't think the last fund worked out that well. I am not even sure what clutch to recommend at this point. All I can say is that my $600 ACT sprung 6 puck and flywheel never let me down.
