Perfect the OFT Maps will work perfectly with that setup. I have the same setup:

Borla UEL
Motiv OP
Stock FP
Perrin 2.5 Resonated CB
Stock Intake box with TRD Filter and Perrin Inlet tube W/ noise generator delete

Car feels great with Shiv's tunes. Run E85 if you can

If you want to run E85 on a stock car use E85 stage 2 EL Header map.

Changing intakes can upset the MAF (mass air flow) calibration used in any of the maps (they have been optimized for stock intake), especially if the maf sensor housing is changed or the diameter of the intake tube changes. If the TRD intake uses standard intake tube where sensor sits then you may get away without re-scaling the MAF . Its not going to cause a major problem just will not be optimal AFR

You can do it yourself if you read up on it or opt for the e-tune package from Vishnu (OFT).
So i guess i need a response from Shiv concerning the TRD intake.

The TRD intake was designed to run without a tune, the OTS maps should be fine.

Well my TRD Intake doesn't like the the stock MAF Scaling much. It's turbulent but I think can tame it with a few runs through OLMAFTool. I've also purchased a honeycomb air straightener which I'm hoping will help stabilize the air flow past the MAF sensor. If it doesn't help I will have wasted a whole $11.

He would be the one to ask, I pretty sure he will have tuned a car with a TRD intake and can give you the correct info.

I believe they have but their seems to be very little power increase (if any)obtained by changing intakes and if you do you will most likely need to rescale the MAF . I think @shiv@vishnu and @jamesm will confirm this. Just add a drop in filter and modify snorkel if your after a couple of HP, that about what most after market intakes will provide.

OFT tunes are done on stock intake, with modified snorkel and drop in filter but work fine with standard filter and standard snorkel.
see here

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1297833

I think shiv also shoved in a 20oz soda bottle and heated it to expand the intake of the cut down snorkel.

your better off spending you money on headers than intakes.

If you want more than about 40Hp increase (headers/full exhaust/tune/E85/modified snorkel/drop in filter) you need to go forced induction.

Your better off making that decision at the start to avoid wasting money.

With the OFT you get petrol mapping or E85 mapping, according to shiv the E85 map will work with variations between E60 and E90.

However there is no true flex fuel support ie no fuel sensor feeding info to ECU to adjust tune. So you have to run petrol or E85 and their is no failsafe if you fuel up with wrong fuel.

however this may change in the future

When i first loaded my stage 2 e85 tune my AFR was reading 14.7 while cruising and on idle. As of yesterday i had to re-write the tune and its been 14.3 while cruising and idle and 11.8-12.3 during WOT. Is this something i should worry about?
