is the berk dual muffler delete considered the loudest? I don't really think it's that loud to be honest. I guess after driving an LT1 with SLP loudmouths, nothing will ever be loud again.

Can't say enough good things about my EVO3 CatB. I tried it without the silencers once. That's an experience I won't ever forget... You can't hear yourself think.

i think the OP needs to put J2 Racing exhaust on the top of the loud list.....

my brz is the loudest F***ing thing in the world with the j2........
its soooo loud its actually annoying..
now i put headers and its louder than ever...

lets put it this way.... this brz is way louder than my dads c4 corvette that makes 500 to the wheels with straight thru mufflers... the brz just sounds like a chainsaw on roids / gunshots / construction site / race car / and a drone that will make your ears bleed....... i know if i dont quiet it down i will get pulled over all the time... you can hear me coming from a mile away.....

im looking for universal quiet flow mufflers to replace the j2 fart cans in the back of the exhaust........ any ideas???????

Loudest to Quietest Exhaust System list (FRZ/BRZ)

It seems a tad on the expensive side but sounds amazing.

That sounds awesome. I'm torn between this or the Evo3. Anyone own the Lachute? I had a Greddy TiC when I had the STI. I'll never forget the first time I fired it up (with silencer removed) - at first I was like this is WAY too loud but it didn't take long to love it. I would set car alarms off idling down the garage ramps at my office. >

I want a deep rumble and Greddy seems to achieve it but that Lachute sounds so monstrous too.

i'd say the q300 is on the quieter side more suited for a full system with header-overpipe-frontpipe etc

Just to give an actual data point on the SRT catback exhaust, I bought an sound level meter recently for calibrating my HT system. Did a measurement of idle, both the initial cold start up fast idle and the warmed up idle, C-weighted, slow rate @ 1m, car in garage with garage door open and SLM just outside the garage door plane @ 1m distance. Results are below:

Cold start Fast idle = 105dB
Normal warmed up idle = 93dB
