best reference I can think of are comparisons with other benchmarks.

For example: Fujitsubo is louder than HKS Legamax.
Also I am referring to Catback only. No other mods. Intakes would be the only exception. I feel that once I get enough of these, the list would make itself

Subjective impressions are fun, but this thread is kind of useless without DB readings.

My resonated SRT catback is about as loud as the Stromung exhaust on my 2.5 RS, maybe even a bit louder. It should quiet down a little as it breaks in. My BRZ just needs some UEL headers then I'll be good!

Conclusion: resonated SRT catback, sort of loud.

I just got the Greddy SP Elite, and it's barely louder than stock (just a bit of a lower grumble and WAY better note). Absolutely what I wanted...looks amazing too!

Does it growl and scream loud enough when you hit it hard 5k-6k from stop light ?

It definitely gets louder when you punch it, but not annoying loud.

The Evo3 without the silencers is way too loud and between 3000-4000 rpm you get the drone. With the silencers, no drone. It might be loud for some people but at least you can hear your engine with the music on. The loudness & note enhances your driving experience. The FRS sounds like a performance car with the Evo3. Other than I like exhaust note, the main reason why I bought the Evo3 is the +7hp & +6.3ft-lbs in torque. The car needs the increase. I have almost 5000 miles with the Evo3 and I love it.
