I just want to give a small update about my car. I do still own it and drive it every day and enjoy every bit of it! Upgrades have been on the back burner as one of my other expensive hobbies in the firearms world have been calling my name (I have expensive taste lol). As well, moving and prepping for graduate school are also sapping money.
I have a few things planned for the spring/ summer such as an oil cooler and tires but that is still up in the air. Since I don't track, I'll probably still do the OEM Forester XT regulator and some Continental Sports. I also REALLY need to tint my windows thanks to Texas heat :/ Anyway, that is all I have to say about that!

Hit 30,000 miles yesterday and did her oil change today!
Boy did I get rusty not doing oil changes myself while I had the free 24k mile oil service when I bought the car. OEM/ Forester XT oil regulator! I've had this installed for about a month now. I went the throttle body route as my dumbass stripped the hex bolt on the engine block trying to do it the other route. It warms the oil up quicker when it's cold, but not super quick like some make it out to be. I'll be seeing how it works during the hot Texas summer that's just around the corner. I don't expect it to provide the same level of cooling as an A2O cooler or the Jackson Racing dual kit. Still, it looks great, and the only "hard" part of the install was burping the coolant.

Gave her the Spring detailing. Washed, clayed, and then applied a layer of Ammo Reflex
Added the images to the front page as well to show the (subtle) changes within 2 years of ownership!

I'm fairly certain, while looking for any missed spots of Reflex, I was temporarily blinded from the sun reflected off.

It really looks great! Is this your only car or is it a weekend car? It’s so clean.

It is my only car, actually. So thank you! I just make sure to be as careful as I can when cleaning it. So I use the AMMO paint regiment (ammo paint cleanser, ammo reflex, ammo skin, and ammo hydrate when I'm not waxing). I also make sure to gently soak the water up using a damp microfiber towel. The Hydrate really helps with drying. The only time I don't use it is when I apply a layer of Reflex (usually 1-2x/ year) and even then I claybar the car prior. The Skin can be put on after using Hydrate. And tbh, the yellow hides swirls and other blemishes very well lol.

FINALLY got some better rubber. Not the best tires based off reviews but they were basically free as a birthday gift from the parents, so no complaints! I'll give some feed back on them after I've driven more. Oddly enough it was cheaper to get them in 225/45-17 than the OE size of 215/45-17 O_o
