Thanks. Are you asking about the fronts or the rears?

The 17x9” wheels with drag radials in the rear would clear stock suspension (in the rear)

But the 18x10” with 285/30/18 up front will not

What offset are your 18×10 wheels? Im looking at ones that are +40.

Thanks!

+40

Also needed to narrow the track to tuck them under the fenders.

18x9.5 +40 would give you the same look with out having to do all the extra stuff to tuck the 10’s

Here is how mine looks with 18x9.5 +40 and 285/30/19. They would poke out a touch more without having narrowed the track.

i thought the fronts were the same as the rear...:P
been thinking of going to wider wheels and tires, without having to get coilovers, but dont want to have to get 17x9 +35 offset to clear stock spring perch at needed camber for autocross.

current setup are just tein street flex.. I'm looking at getting lcas to dial down my camber most likely spc but I don't know whether I need aftermarket toe arms or not.. car is meant for daily / autox do you guys think - 2/1.5 front and - 1.5/-1 rear can be achieved with jsut lcas?

Ok this seems to be the right forum to ask. I just got a set of SSR wheets at 18x9.5 with a +44 offest. The tires on it are a 235/40 on it. I currently have stock strut with an Eibach lowering spring that drops the car just about an inch and a 25 mm spacer on it. Sooooo group. Taking the big spacers off, will I be able to run this set up without having to buy coilovers. I have bought 5 mm spacers and the camber bolts to bring the camber in some on the front. I can also buy a different size wheel too. I was looking at least at a 245/35 wheel. Will this all be possible. Thanks group.

would you be able to elaborate on the no?? is this just solved by a coilover then? They were on a FRS previous to my car.

With the wheels and tires you have, you can add a 10mm spacer and No camber, and your wheels will "fit" without rubbing. (they will poke a bit)

Your wheels will touch the spring perch without a spacer. With a spacer added you will have some poke. And if you want to get rid of the poke, you will need camber. To add camber, you will need room between the tire and spring perch. To get room, you will have to add coilovers.

With coilovers you can easily run a 255/35. (and even wider with minimal mods to the car)

285 will fit square with the correct offsets and fender rolling

Thanks for the information. I’m going to at least see if 8-10mm spacer with the lowered springs at about .8 of an inch with some camber bolts will run the 235/40 for now and when I upgrade the tire to a 245/255 I’ll get some coil overs for it.

Allright group. I ended up buying coilovers to fit the wheels on the car. I'm looking to do 255/35/18 up front and 265/35/18 in back. I was just wondering how that affects my speedometer when driving. Or will it be negligible. Also running right now with no spacers and still seem to have room, but would the 265 be an issue on the rears?? Thanks.
