First time making brake lines. Not too bad. Just lots of patience. And do it 20 plus more times

Finally got the brake lines done except for 1 fitting (the mc). Next up is the oil drains and mounting the turbos.

Got the turbo oil drains plumbed, all brake parts hooked up and tightened (just need to fill and bleed), new pivot point for the brake pedal drilled to give it a 6:1 ratio, and extending the wiring for the fuse box and abs block. As soon as i get the headers, i can drop them in and start on the intercooler and downpipes. Thinking i should get the manual tensioner in the picture after reading about this belt arrangement jumping off at high rpm. Anyone use this?

I drilled a hole higher up on the brake pedal as well to get a better pedal ratio. Let us know your thoughts on your manual brake setup after you get to try it out.

I will. I need to get faster grabbing pads too to complete the setup. Any recommendation.

I know what you mean. I drove it for a little bit but stopped with exhaust problems (needed to be redone). A lot of things have changed since then. Turbos now, manual brakes, no abs, etc...

Got the drift armor bar in. Put the radiator back to the original position to make room for an intercooler roughly 25x18x3.5. Still looking for one i want with 3" inlets and a 3.5" outlet. Used the old fuel tank straps which are the perfect length of the top radiator brace. 3.5" angle down and 26.5" across. Going to add some corner braces and call it good. This will open up 3.5-4.0 inches under the hood for the intercooler to throttle body pipe. Still waiting on the headers but one is done and they are working the second one. Plan is to run all 3" intercooler piping. Most likely intercooler im looking at is the treadstone TRTTC9-3.5. It is a 25x9x3.5 for the core and about 25x15x3.5 total which fits.

Got the headers back and test fitted everything. Already knew i am going to have to make a raised portion of the hood but i am ok with that. Everything else fit pretty well with exception of one minor spot on the radiator frame(will trim) and the oil drain line for the right turbo will have a very small angle to it vice a large angle but it is going to the front cover so i think i should be ok. Next step is to make the downpipes and ic piping.

This will be awesome but I don’t think your radiator will be up to the task.

Make some heat shield and run the factory fans and I think it will be good. I ran on the dyno with no fans and never got above 203 F lol

I'm surprised you didn't get their mirrored version of the turbo.

I would have but i bought those turbos in 2011 so mirror image had not happened yet. Precision still doesnt even offer 6765's in mirror image from what i could find. If anyone knows how to get a mirror image 6765H vband that would be awesome. Got these turbos brand new for 800 from real street on sale in 2011 and i sold the car i was going to use them on(6L lq9 in a third gen trans am).
