Darker front brake fluid
I just flushed my brakes for the first time. I did right rear, left rear, right front, left front. I'm just wondering about this, but the fluid when I bled the the rears was almost clear yellow, but the fronts were totally black. Is that normal or did I bleed them in the wrong order

Front brakes make more heat so they would make the fluid change color over time. As long as you flushed all the black out you should be good. Normal.

If your worried the color, buy a larger bottle of brake fluid and just bleed them till it comes out clear. Just make sure the reservoir is nice and full.

thanks, yeah it's yellow in all four corners by the time I finished, I was just wondering why it was so much darker in the front than the back but that makes sense now

I'd get a liter to be safe and have some left over to use for bleeding later on. I went through about 800ml and that was being very thorough

Yeah one 500 ml bottle is kinda stretching it for a full flush. A liter leaves you with a good amount of leftover
