There are so many positives and very few negatives (if any) about this car. Even the perceived "negatives" are in fact positives (depending on how you look at it).

"Lack of Power" => Better fuel efficiency - which makes more sense in everyday driving under speed limitation due to traffic conditions or legislation. Spend less on fuel, avoid speeding tickets, and keep your insurance premium low.

"Thin Tires" => These contribute to the responsive steering, road feel, and tail happiness. Also less costly to replace.

"Simple, No Frills" => Which means less complex and less things that can go wrong. Also keeps the weight down and price low.

We are lucky to have this car at all. If it was up to the bean counters, this car would never have made it to the production line. That's what I like the most about this car. After following it for many years as a concept, it's here and there's one in my garage.

I LOVE the handling, BUT......

What I love most is how the car looks. It looks like 150MPH standing still. It is prettier than tits pressed against my living room window. Along those lines, I am no longer invisible to much younger women.

I like the fact that it's a non luxury sports car, fun to drive and the amount of aftermarket parts for this car.

But is it prettier than tits pressed against your driver's seat window?

I like a lot of things about this car, driving dynamics, seats, etc. But one thing that sticks out to me are the tail lights. Just the red circular part, not the turning signals.

I enjoy the view looking at the rear of these cars (especially with the lights on) more than I did the one time I saw the Mona Lisa in person.

PS- The Mona Lisa is a lot smaller than you expect.

I love that this car was meant for the true enthusiasts.

It has the most aftermarket support I've ever seen for any car and Toyota/Subaru were smart going through with the production. Can't beat the good price and sweet MPG!

We basically have the modern day, new school Type-R that's RWD...

therefore that's why i really love the fr-s while it's driving due to how responsiveness the steering wheel makes me feel very welcome as though long lost friendship has been rekindled

ps: sory im stone, not sure if it makes sense but i believe so

i owned an s2k, then bought an frs.....i have since sold the S2k, but i agree

In an age where cars judged by the amount of features, amenities and tech advances they have, the 86 is a throw back to what sports cars should be all about.

1. The steering wheel - how it feels in my hands and how it controls the vehicle
2. The side profile of the car - this car is gorgeous

I love all that road noise and how a small gravel feels like a boulder under your tires.

Well, actually I like the handling and the attention it gets!
