Picking up BRZ tomorrow...

Besides smiling the whole time and taking a lot of photos...any day-of delivery details that I should worry about? Issues with dealer PDI that I should be checking?

Sidenote: my car was delivered to dealership early (Jan) and has been sitting in the dealership waiting for pick up, since i wanted to wait for the snow/salt to be gone

Thanks in advance!

Tie-down hole plug. Tire pressure. Then go get your car detailed by a professional. I recommend Kevin at GTA In Detail. I believe his forum handle is @picus

Agreed, and to make life easier for the detailer don't get the car washed, leave the white wrapping on the car and peel it off once you're at the detailer's place.

Also, if you don't want to get your front bumper drilled for the license plate holes tell them early, before they do PDI.

it's located on each side of the car about a foot from the front of the rear wheels, near where the rear pinch welds are. if you lay down and look under you'll see pretty big holes, you won't miss it. Also look in your glove box for the plugs. If you can't find the plugs chances are they are installed, otherwise just pop it in yourself.

plugs:

Thank you all for the tips, I've been so busy driving around my new BRZ, my gosh it feels good to drive manual again.

Thankfully my side tiedown holes were plugged by the dealer

Planning on booking an appointment for opticoat/clear bra next week, should i not wash the car myself between now and then? starting to get a bit of wet dirt from the wet snow

if it's just a bit of dirt then i'd say leave it to the professional to wash it. If it's really bad just hose it down. If you wash it you risk introducing more minor scratches.
