Problem Shifting into gears.

Hey, if anyone could help me figure out what this problem is or any ideas would be much appreciated.

I Have a 2013 Scion FRS. When the car reaches normal operation temp. Sometimes I wont be able to shift into any gears after I come to a complete stop, it would completely lock me out. I would either have to hold my clutch in for a couple seconds and it would shift without any problems or just hold the clutch in the whole time at stop light.

I installed an ACT clutch Kit W/ lighten Flywheel. Also installed a new clutch slave slave cylinder thinking it would fix the problem.

Did you have the problem before the clutch/flywheel install? Was the clutch grab point adjusted after the install?

Maybe you should do that.
Did you bleed the clutch too?

If you have a problem shifting after a clutch install the first place to look is clutch drag. There are several sources - installation error and part defect/performance are high on the list.

I'm assuming you replaced the TOB. Did you reuse the OEM clutch fork?

These guys above me are probably right, since it happened right after the new clutch and flywheel install.

But I'll toss in just for fun (since it's a 2013) check and make sure your motor mounts are in good shape. If the engine flexes too much on bad mounts it can cause shifting issues. You know with the massive torque this beefy engine creates, it causes all kinds of issues

There ya go. Even if you did those things, I suggest you do (check) them again.
