Easier to just learn to read from left to right.

Can you explain why not? I thought FBKC and FLKC were very important to look at...

I still like to log both fbkc and flkc especially if your getting iam drops as it can be due to either. You can also used KCLearned to determine flkc knock and iam but its much easier with flkc, but usefull if the device doescnot log flkc or iam or as a cross check

Fuel system status tells you if your in open or closed loop fueling mode usefull for maf scaling, you can also generally pick open loop fueling mode as stft will go to zero

their is some good suff on the romraider forums on subaru knock and i thunk i linked to it in the knock link below or the flashing reset learning l

If the fbkc is bad or often enough to drop iam, it will transfer to flkc.

As i said before, unless you have fuel dialed in already, have a flat kca map to reference and have lots of miles on the car followed by hundreds of miles of logs, all you will do by pulling timing for every minor knock event is detune your car.

Best explaination of knock correction here although its pretty heavy reading, its for 16 bit ecu, but appears to apply to our 32 bit ecu code as well, the main difference is on 32 bit ecu iam is 0 to 1 and on 16 bit iam is 0 to 16.

http://www.romraider.com/forum/topic1840.html

http://www.romraider.com/forum/topic5371.html

the ecu operates in two different modes fine correction and coarse correction, the ecu switches between these modes , and can do so very quickly but never in both modes at same time

Feedback correction FBKC only negitive not storred but used to drop iam

Fine learning correction FLKC stored in feedback correction table can be +or-, can only be + if iam is less than 1

IAM coarse correction

IAM is considered coarse correction but drops can be triggered by flkc or fbkc or likely a combination of both fed into some weird algorythm that takes into accout size duration and how often it occurs.
IAM returning to one, also likely due to some weird calculation that takes into acount how knock free rpm\load area have been for a period of time.

I see now if you get to know these engines well enough you can tell that if you have a load of 1.2 and total advance say 45 and AFR of 14.5 there should knock unless the fuel is good enough. just as example. I don't know what those thresholds are yet. I'll give those links a read thanks steve.

Hey guys, been lurking for awhile learning as much as I can. New to OFT and just wanted to post my datalog to see if there's anything standing out I should look at. Let me know if I need to add any other variables and such. Thanks in advance

Here are 2 runs:

Got the new OFH tune. Only mods are OFH, drop in filter, and catback. How does my log look? I tried doing a 3rd gear redline pull but I ran out of room on the road.

At about 4500 and 3.5v at on your MAF scale at WOT it starts to go a little Rich other than that looks good.

Yeah, just a smidgen rich. I personally wouldn't worry about it as it's not costing much power and your trims look reasonable and 0 FLKC.
