Silver, yes, but not sure about the fogs lol. I rarely use them. It was at that intersection in Bethel where the Citgo gas station is. We waved. My car might a look a bit different now since I have the full STI kit on it.

The real back roads are where it's at and some of them are pretty phenomenal.

I need to make some notes on which ones are better and could be workable for a decent sized group. Where should the focus be? Northwest, maybe something northeast of Bristol, what part of the state works best for the most people?
What about a cruise to Bear Mountain in NY? How far away is that area? I've always heard it's a good drive, but never been there.

From Danbury? You could probably do it in an hour or less. There are some nice roads along the way but unless you stick to the interstate there's way too much traffic to keep a group together. The roads in the park are fantastic though and would be good for a cruise other than the low, well enforced speed limit. If you want to do a little trip Rt 2 in northern Mass is fanfuckingtastic between Greenfield and Williamstown. There are a few super fun roads to take going up and back too utilizing mostly back roads and you go past a couple of gas stations with ethanol free premium along the way. You're pretty much looking at an all day ride though to do it from central CT.
