Unhappy Engine Check Light..HELP

So, yesterday i was on the highway, and suddenly my check engine light comes on. When i put it in manual and downshifted it wouldn't raise the rpm's like always. When i got home let it cool down, and disconnected the battery for 20 minutes when i turned back on everything went back to normal. Is there anything i should be looking for?

You needed to have the code checked at autozone before you cleared it because we can't tell you otherwise man.

The code may still be in the stored code memory, as above best to take it to dealer or at least read the error code before you cleared it.

Probably worth runnning obd scan toll on ot or taking it to dealer to see if code still in memory

sounds like it went into limp home mode, not good.

Just came back from the dealer. He checked the ECU, and got nothing. He said if it happens again just take it back.

Thanks for the reply

Did he say what the code was?

It would look something like this. P0xxx

I'm assuming he was talking about the coil pack which fires the spark plug.

If I assumed wrong please fill free to correct me because I've never heard of a throttle coil.

Actually there IS a coil in the throttle position sensors.
Both in the pedal and the throttle body butterfly position sensor.

If he stated that "it was on one side", then it probably is one of the COP packs.
