Because they are essentially the same and cost less. I know they are well thought out and were pretty extensively tested before release.

As of this date I have the HSD HR monotube coilovers on my FR-S and I feel like for the price I got the best - though I am somewhat wanting to take the next step and try out the RS*R Sport-i

This is the Super Sport shock dyno I got from Stance suspension. I wanted to compare to the Ohlins coilover so I put them next to each other.

From what I was told, for road cars, you're mainly looking at upto 5in/sec

I'm no expert but looks like similar valving and Stance seems to have more adjustment range

The top chart (yellow background) is ohlins that I found that on the forums, the bottom chart (white background) is Stance Super Sports. The Black line is full stiff, the orange line is full soft. The vertical values is force, while the horizontal is velocity.

Yes. I actually bought a set used the guy have put 10k km on it. When i got them, the front damper knob were fucked. One was stripped and the other one was stuck. The rear boots all ripped off and the rear passenger side was squealing. The body of the coilovers was in very good condition tho. They never been winter driven. The ride quality is OK i mean i tried the buddy club race spec and the ride quality was better. I would not buy these coilovers since the adjustement knob is at the bottom of the strut so it gets all the dort of the road and i think IMO they re not good quality. Id buy fortune auto or teins or ST over this.

I also returned the coilovers to the guy cuz he told me they were a1 but they were not. Well when yiu buy used stuff thats what you should expect lol .. but thought id give my opinion
