May want to distance yourself from JR/86_ZN6 and his car. He's not very well liked around this forum.

No offense to our new vendor, but I have been avoiding WORKS because of the association mentioned by @Clipdat.

I know for a fact that they were only sponsoring his car and letting him sell works products. I think they were clueless about his vendor issue's.
I like works myself and hopefully Jr's issues did not hurt them too much.

Welcome to the Forum! I believe many of our members know JR/86_ZN6 was associated with WORKS as a reseller or partner, etc. Truly a sour taste for many who had to deal with his shady business practice. I did notice you had JR's car in your original post for WORKS advertisement picture (you've changed it now). @WORKS can you explain your current association/relationship with JR/86_ZN6 so that hopefully it may instill some confidence with our members?

I don't think that @WORKS really needs to justify their relationship with someone in the past. They could have been led astray with promises just as many people here have been. I seriously doubt they they would have been actively involved with some of the shenanigans of JR. I will always give someone a second chance because the first may have been a fluke. In my opinion, I would bet that @WORKS is familiar with the situation and will work that much harder to prove themselves as a great vendor who will now work directly with us as customers versus going to a middle-man.

With that said, welcome to the forum and I look forward to seeing you guys at some of the gatherings that we have.

That's fine, but I think many people here are curious to know if there is still a relationship of some sort today. It'll be reassuring for many members to hear directly from @WORKS, and then let our wallets decide.

In the beginning when I first got my car, I tried to contact them a lot -- even tried to call them. But after multiple calls ignored as well as emails ignored. I won't be doing business with them, even if their prices were right.

I believe that they do have the right to ignore who they want, but my business and pocket book will be going elsewhere.

I just want to put my personal experience out there.

I didn't want to bring this up, but same experience here. Maybe their service is better now!

Last summer when I was looking for a shop to install my suspension parts I chose Works based on suggestions from this forum. I contacted Works via email. I had lots of questions for them and all of my inquiries were promptly answered. I was given a very reasonable quote for installing coilovers, rear LCA's, corner balance and alignment. Several months passed until I was actually ready to have the parts installed. I again contacted them via email and asked if the quote was still good. They said yes it was.

Long story short I set up my appointment and they were able to get me in at my convenience and finished the same day while I waited. Everyone there was friendly, courteous and professional. They even offered to loan me their shop car to get lunch! The techs working on my car were great. Very knowledgable. They asked me lots of questions in order to set up the car correctly for what my intended purpose was. I had them lower the car and set my camber. They treated me and my car with respect. I think they did a very good job.

That was last October. Car rides and handles great. No issues. Not sure if they have severed ties with the vender mentioned in earlier posts and I have not been back since but I'm pretty sure I would go back to them for work. Thanks Works Motorsports and welcome to the forum!

Just my 2CW.
