Activate your alarm!!

So from our last meet, I know many of us have BRZ's in the Limited trim.

I came across this gem today.

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11049

Turns out my car's alarm was not activated from factory.

If you saw this already, just ignore it. If you haven't, go and make sure your car's alarm is turned on.

Thanks for info! Mine was off too. Took me several attempts and it turned out I wasn't quick enough to open the door after pressing unlock button. Need to do it pretty quick while still holding the unlock button.

Thanks a lot for the info! I just activated the alarm on the Series 10. But I have no idea what this blue button under the driver side dash is for. What is it?

I just bought a limited and my dealer was trying to have me buy the alarm for an extra $495. He never mentioned it was already included. How sad.

I didn't buy it and thanks to you guys, learned how to activate it!

I tested it by having a window down and then manually unlocking the door (with the key fob away from the car) and boy is that horn and light show loud and bright.

Glad we could help. Have fun with the car!
