I finally got my wheel alignment done today and did some hard cornering to test the Buddy Club coilovers. All I can say is WOW!! Hats off to Buddy Club! These are the Shizz!! With my set up, the car handles like a gokart. I have the Buddy Club racing specs set to 6 clicks and the ride quality for daily driving is still good. I am running 17x9 RPF1 +35 wrapped in Dunlop Direzzas Z1 Star Spec 245/45/17. The only con I can think of about the Buddy Club Racing Spec is the height adjustment. Right now I am running on the lowest height and it is only about a full inch drop. I would like to run at least a quarter of an inch lower. Here is a crappy picture I took on my phone.

Looks great! Did you adjust just the spring perch? or the lower mount also? You should be able to get it lower if you adjust the lower mount and in conjunction with the spring perch. If that's still not enough for you, you can remove one of the threaded red lock nuts which will get you about another 1/4". If you lower it more though, it will adjust your toe again. It shouldn't affect your toe THAT much though, it wouldn't be enough to justify a new alignment. Glad you like the coilovers!

I didn't adjust the spring perch because I didn't want to preload the spring but the lower mounts were set to the lowest. I didn't think about removing the middle thread lock to sit a little lower. I'll give that a shot the next time I do any mods on the suspension. Thanks!!

its not really the spring rate that dictates how serviceable the car is for daily driving but the shock damping.

Correct! In the city I live in, the streets are smoother so I can ride on a stiffer setting but where I work, the streets are crap so I just leave them on a softer setting for a more comfortable ride. On the weekends I turn up the stiffness so I can enjoy the way the car performs with the Buddy Clubs.

An inch. If you are planning on going lower, I would suggest you do not get the buddy clubs.

Did you buy a special tool to adjust the rears easily?

No extra tools were needed. The kit came with the tools to adjust the height.

good reviews and info in here. I got the RSDs for my civic and height adjustment was always a problem for me when I wanted to go lower... but then again the RSD are more function > form. Might just get these again for the FRS.

Hey @mark_Slide_Squad, is that really only an inch lower than stock? It looks like a lot more than that
