I'd say a spade-toothed whale if you can poach one around New Zealand.

He already has bought enough stuff to make his own special edition!

My car would have cost me a lot more if I bought a MY13 and added each option separately instead of just buying a Monogram. Besides, not everyone wants the absolute base model, especially when you're already spending 25k. Not to mention, it usually helps with resale value.

Lol I guess the differences can only be noticed in person. What's odd is that the 2015 FR-S pic has the same mileage & time as the 2016 FR-S picture lol

I can understand if you want some of the factory options like the radio, climate control, keyless entry and such. If I was shopping for FRS's like I was last year I would be looking for a used monogram. BUT when you can get a low mileage 13 for almost 21K out the door it is kind of hard to argue with that math.. Spending an extra 4-5K for options to maybe get an extra 2K maybe on resale over a lower model doesnt really add up. Plus the extra taxes you're paying on the total extra cost can almost eat up any extra resale value you might have earned! Moral of the story is when you buy a car like this resale value should be the last thing on your mind unless its trade in value.. For when I inevidably trade in for a lightly used 2016 miata..

lmao people thinking that this is the last year. They'll pull a Honda and ride this thing into the ground, mark my words there will be FR-S on dealer lots well into 2018 at the bare minimum.

Edit: And sales aren't that bad, they're outdoing every Japanese RWD car in the last 10 years with the exception of the 350Z. The dropoff curve is standard.

Yep, 494 BRZ and 1026 FR-S last month. Some of the other sports car makers would kill for those numbers on a new release, let alone one that is now entering its fourth year of production. Toyota uses a 6 year cycle on Sports cars so I agree with your 2018 prediction.
