Yeah you should be good. Not sure what vacuum cap or hose barbs they are referring to really. You pull the cap off your current manifold to cap the barb off the supercharger manifold that MTs use for brake booster. Although yours looks capped already.

But the only two differences between MT and AT install Is brake Booster reroute and transmission ecu harness relocation. Which you should be fine for the hose reroute and you’ll have to figure something out for the harness relocation.

Tech tip, replace those shitty looking white zip ties with black ones, come on now!!!! White ugly ass looking zip ties standing out like a sore thumb in an otherwise outstanding looking engine bay. I have a bunch of 3m units. I’ll send you some. 😁

Lol, they used to all be black but redid some for random reasons and ran out of black ones and had a bag of white ones laying around. Next time I think about it maybe I’ll swap them to black ones. Don’t really care too much about how it looks under the hood as long as it’s functional. Especially after massacring my gold tape heat wrap on the entire intake lol. Idk how people avoid the bubbles with so many bends and uneven surfaces involved.

My idler pulley decided to kill itself. I am guessing because I did not have the shim it did this. Good thing I was sitting at light when it happened. Smelled the burning rubber. Pulled off right away and shut down the car. Contacted sprintex for a spare part and cost.

Nuline EP121 , or I got the EP141 bcs it’s wider plenty of room to prevent belt popping off, although the internal piece the pulley sits on isn’t long enough but i do have the shim on the outside. May try to find an extra piece to extend it. So far working flawlessly though. Most people stick toy the EP121 as it’s same width, but 6mm more diameter for more pulley wrap on supercharger pulley especially when using smaller SC pulley. Like 70/69mm.

Not sure part number easy to find though but Nuline also has exact same size as stock if you wanted to keep the same size.

Can you show me the shim? And where did you get the shim? Thanks for the quick response. Easy fix for sure.

Quick Google not many places carry it. Dayco is the brand that's piping up. Looks like a few places from AU but nothing state side

Just to be clear the ep121 will not require a shim?

Oh never mind I was referring to the thick washer/shim on outside. Not the shim spacer on the inside. I don’t even remember if I installed it or not, if the kit came with it I’m sure I did. But maybe not. I’m pretty sure it’s just to make sure the belt is aligned on the middle of idler pulley and doesn’t slip off. Mine did ride very close to the edge never an issue but was always concerning until I switched to the EP141 which is a bit wider.

Stock is 70mm diameter 26mm wide
Ep121 is 76mm diameter 26mm wide
EP141 is 76mm diameter 29mm wide

I use the EP141 but because it’s wider 3mm the pulley mount doesn’t fully extend the entire width of the pulley so the extra 3mm is floating on air basically. Not sure if that will be an issue or not so far it’s fine. I may find a small thick washer to put in there to take up the space. Benefit of the 121 or 141 is it wraps the belt around the super charger pulley a little more for less chance of belt slip especially if you have 69/70mm pulley it makes ratio back to normal from standard 75mm sc pulley.

This is pic of the pulley mount with the spacer shim, just find a washer at any hardware store that fits will be same as shim showed.

For those who are running the 72.5mm pulley: what belt are you using? I'm trying to stock up on a couple of belts in case they snap on me.

Hey guys. First time starting up the car with Moto East tune on. It hesitates really hard to start up and sometimes idles very low and it dies. Sometimes it doesnt even turn on at all until I hold the key and keep it turned.

I have an automatic. CEL blinks. I’m getting the P0304 code and C1288.

I checked for all leaks.. any help would be appreciated.

Who did your install? And why did it leave with codes and issues? They should resolve this.
Did you give tuner the proper Calid and follow exact flashing protocol?

P0304 did they swap over the evap solenoid? Double check all hoses installed and routed correctly to correct places, did they fully reconnect the transmission ecu harness when relocating? it was kind of a bitch to get it to reconnect properly. Double check injector connectors didn’t come detached. Intake Vacuum actuator hose attached properly and not cracked? Some people had issues with those cracking easily. If those didn’t fix Possibly injector seal was pinched or damaged on install. Good place to start if doesn’t fix have to dive deeper.

For C1288 possibly related to brake booster line not being installed correctly.

Whoever did install should be resolving this. Unless you have tuner wrong calid or messed something up when flashing which is hard to do. It’s most likely install error.

A buddy of mine did the install. We only ran into the problem today because my tune just arrived today. Hesitated hard as hell to startup, and it would sometimes idle really low and die off. CEL is blinking P0304 code.

My buddy is going to go through every hose to make sure there is no leak. He's also going to triple check everything you just said. Hopefully I can have it figured out soon. This is starting to worry me. Literally the worst feeling ever

Here are my logs if anyone's interested.
