Honestly the only reason you should ever leave a team is to go to a better one, and while Mercedes has bucket loads of money, that doesn't win you titles. McLaren has a great history and knows how to win. I think this is all just LH acting like a spoiled child, he had some rough moments with the team (not to mention some reliability issues) and probably got it into his head that they were favoring Button. This is all out of spite, the moment he can he will try to come back.

On another note, wow Red Bull is having some KERS issues, this could be bad.

Hamilton takes the first win at Austin! He was the only threat to Vettel and was after him all race. Once Webber fell away and couldn't play defense there was no stopping Lewis, I hope he enjoys it though since it may be a while before he wins again.

Alonso had a great race as well and forced a final decisive battle in Brazil. Who will the next champion be?

The line leaving on the last day was shitty as hell so where to food lines.... But other than that I had a blast. I like watching the 458 go in the Kitty litter and making back out and spilling a ton of that stuff on turn 3...

@Longhorn248 yours are great too!

Tell us about the spectators you saw there. Did you encounter many fans from abroad?

This was probably one of my favorite things about the race.. In the big crowds and long lines were where you saw many people from around the globe; some proudly displaying their country's flag. Probably heard a dozen different languages and accents over the weekend.

That is fantastic. This is what I love about F1. Seeing this race in Austin has really ignited my love for the series. I like people coming together from all over the world to follow these races.
