We are running a 6mm spacer in the front making our final offset a 42. The spacer gave use the room needed to run BFG R1 slicks and we decided to leave them when we switched to the hankook Rs3 275/35/18.
How realistic is this set up for a DD? I'm trying to figure out the correct offsets to allow me to run 275/35/18 BFG Rivals all around. The problem is I was basing my wheel specs off of JiveTurkey but I figured out his tread width is only 9.6" with his 265's. 275 Rivals measure 10.2" tread width. That's huge! I'm trying to figure out of there's any way to accomplish this. I'm ok with trimming bumper tabs and finishing the rolling around the fenders on the edges, but any rubbing at all under hard acceleration, braking, or cornering is unacceptable.

@Acree seeing as the car is DD with this set up now I would saw its realistic. We are running the Eibach r2 coils with the base springs, we plan on changing then, that said we have the car as low as we can without rubbing on the track, hard breaking, turning, ect. There were a lot of factors we had to test before we made it known about the 275/35. Let me know if this helps

Thanks. I'm still trying to figure out if I can do 245/40 on 17x9 with Eibach Pro-Kit springs.

I'm trying to get a definitive answer on a setup I'm about to pull the trigger on.

17x9 +35 enkei rpf1's.

Was originally considering 245/35 PSS' but now see many of you guys riding on larger wheels (18's) on 255 and 265 tires with no issues. Thinking 255 may be the sweet spot for me.

So, 17x9 et35 and 255/35/17 Michelin PSS tires.

Aiming for a 1.5" inch drop.

Any reasons why I would have clearance issues? Are rear LCA's going to be a must?

Beautiful stuff Jive ... but how practical is that ride height in the front?

It looks like you have almost no room for suspension travel with that wheel well completely filled. Is this your normal driving height or just for pics?

Beautiful nonetheless!

To OP, your photos inspired me to get a custom plate. You know what they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...

Running 265/35 in the rear, planning to go to 275/35 next summer.

this has been my height since day one. on track it doesn't rub, even when a few pro grand am drivers took the wheel, still no rubbing. its very functional.
