The suspension changes alone are worth the $6K to me. Plus financing is easier on a new car because of the dealer incentives.

1-2 years used is ideal for cars. Drive the piss outta it stock and see if anything is jacked up. Get them fixed under warrantee and press on with modding.
To the guy saying the minor suspension tweaks are worth 6k....

I only had my car waxed but I had bird poop on my car for only a couple hours and it ate away at the clear coat... also, i got some chips on the roof that caused some rust. Fortunately the dealership is taking care of the roof an trunk lid (where the bird poop was) and they have the car right now at a body shop getting it repainted. Just an FYI.
