The suspension changes alone are worth the $6K to me. Plus financing is easier on a new car because of the dealer incentives.

The ft86 isn't old enough to worry about financing. I can get 1.2% at DCU right now and will only be financing a little under 10k.

1-2 years used is ideal for cars. Drive the piss outta it stock and see if anything is jacked up. Get them fixed under warrantee and press on with modding.

To the guy saying the minor suspension tweaks are worth 6k....

If i ever truly got into the brz i'd consider picking up a set of ohlins for it but then I'd be compelled to take the car off the road in the winter even then those are 3-4k tops.

Then again, I have a Series Blue which was cheaper than adding the STI parts to a stock car...

That and I couldn't find a used WRB Limited for anywhere near 20K. If you're not picky about color there's tons of cheap ones out there though...

I hear you... Kinda like don't sell a convertible during the winter.

We don't get that bad down here, but we get bad enough I still would like to get winter tires for the added safety. Kind of expensive for tires I'll use for a couple months a year.

Nice! have fun with her! I got one a few months ago brand new.. i'm in florida, it's been raining a lot.... empty, wet parking lots are my friends

Just make sure to put some protective product on the paint in addition to wax. I only had my car waxed but I had bird poop on my car for only a couple hours and it ate away at the clear coat... also, i got some chips on the roof that caused some rust. Fortunately the dealership is taking care of the roof an trunk lid (where the bird poop was) and they have the car right now at a body shop getting it repainted. Just an FYI.
