Question Cold start problems

So i have done some modification to my engine
Nameless Cam Plate
Energy Suspension Shifter Mount Bushing
King Engine Bearings Standard Crank Main Bearing Set
ARP FA20 Head Stud Kit
ACT XT Street Clutch Kit (Normal FW)
Mishimoto Baffled Catch Can PCV Side
Manley Platinum Series Pistons (Bore B) 12.5:1 cp
Skunk2 Alpha Connecting Rods
and im currently running the E85 tune supplied by OFT.

My car runs amazing after warm but cold starts in the morning take 3-5 attempts every morning.

I have already replaced the coolant temp sensor. I emailed Manley and asked if the pistons needed a custom tune and they said no. I dont know what else to check tho? Any Ideas???

Maybe running e85 on a stock fuel pump could be the culprit

A cold start is always going to be harder on E85, even harder if its cold out.

You should really use flex fuel with E85 for various reasons, but
you can fix cold start issues for the most part.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67310
read this thread it shows the changes needed in tune.

Hi message me should be avle to get you starting down to about 32F or 0c first crank on 80% plis ethanol amd a bit lower on say 70% stuff

Your definiton is also incorrect note the tavle that has 32 in entire row thats no good.

Also you need to alter all the crank tables and the rpm vs temp crank table

If you look at the numbers up top of table F all the temp ranges are the same. Also noted I did a data log this morning for first start and noted that the LTFT is at 16% on start and floats down to around 7% hot.

My guess is that the intake isn't seated to the block correctly, Im also going to plug in a scan tool and read the O2 sensors to see if they got damaged during the engine build.

Update:
I have since tightened all of the intake bolts and clamps
Put a new battery in the car also

Car starts right up on cold but dies right after still till the third crank attempt every cold start. Doesn't matter if its cold out or warm out, its usually after the car has been sitting for a while.

Starting to wonder if I have an injector leaking?

Turns out, when i put the stock back on the car.
The car no longer runs lean.

So I either need to leave the exhaust restrictive or put the aftermarket back on and get a tune.
