Subaru BRZ with $10k in mods or Ford Focus RS?

Having driven both, for ne it's the frs. Way better ergonomics and driving position, shifter feel, steering feel, etc. And while it loses out on paper to the rs in just about every measure, I can tell that the based on feel alone, knowing nothing about either car, the frs has better handling. But if you need the room, any hot hatch is the way to go. I would check out the veloster n as well as the type r. Having driven an si and a base 2019 veloster, I could easily see liking either higher performance model more than the rs.

Had another chance to instruct in one at Road Atlanta and this time also drove it for a few laps. The car was completely stock except some stickier tires.

-- High seating position (again)

-- Lots of open space for my left knee so could not brace myself properly in corners

-- Really light and twitchy steering with no feel

-- Really light cluch pedal

-- Did not feel like 350 hp, expected it to be much quicker (90* weather though)

-- Good brakes

-- Oil temps were ok

-- Did not fuel starve even when it was showing 10 miles to empty

The only reason to get one over a twin is if you need space.
