@King Tut add @TopSpeed to the list. Doug's red BRZ threw a rod a few days ago at 520whp. I believe the motor is stock internally. It's running a custom turbo kit with a liquid to air intercooler in the engine bay. Hearing about this through a friend so no other details until he can get on here and clarify.

Hopefully, @TopSpeed will pop in with more details, and I will add them.

Doug tuned my Stage 2 Sti in Jacksonville, FL back in 2007 and I was pretty happy with the tune at that time..
I didn't know he had a BRZ/FRS..520whp and water/air intercooler sits in the engine bay? maybe he was just testing to see how long the engine would last

Correct I had a piston fail where the wrist pin attaches. I honestly kept pushing my stock motor to the breaking point. 540whp and 8300rpms on stock internals don't make for a long life.

All good now as I have my new built motor installed.

More photos of the W2A setup please?

I have a thing for them, goes better than the A2A on the MR2 and the new MB 45 AMG also run them to 360hp on a 2 litre.
