Either this car is going to be absolutely epic, or the marketing machine is setting us up for the biggest bust in automotive history. I don't think there's any room for middle ground at this point.

after watching this video, it just feels wrong to get the fr-s, especially since i understood all the native-language connotations...

this car NEEDS a subaru badge, plain and simple...

Very nice but could be alot better: 2 seat front mid-engine rear-wheel drive 250 PS 1100 kg coupé.

This same passion could be ignited into the Toyota version if they actually badged it a TOYOTA in the US! Preface it with tons of clips from Toyota's motorsports history, and WHAM! Now everyone wants one. There's just too much of a disconnect; Scion is such a faceless brand by comparison.

That was a great video, everytime I see the BRZ the more it grows on me. I'm starting to doubt pre-ordering the Scion... Anywho, anyone else find it strange that the front wheels on the dyno are moving as well @ 6:05? Is that AWD or is that a special dyno?

I would have to disagree with you sir. the whole IDEA of this car came from Toyota, and Toyota built the prototype 5 years ago. Subaru is known for its all wheel drive. The AE86 says hello

The video was included in that "super secret survey" they sent via e-mail a few weeks back (last month?), and I think it has been on Subaru's official site for a while now.
