Fitment for 20x8.5 wheels with offset=38
Really would like to use these 20 inch 5x100 wheels all around but concerned about rubbing the fender or stock suspension. I read that 8.5 wide wheels are flush in front at 44 so (if correct) this would poke out .25 inch. The rear was listed as flush at 37 so no issue with the fender in the rear.
On the front I would run a set of P ZERO 245/30ZR20 for an overall diameter of 25.8 inches. Prefer something wider in the rear. Have no plans to lower the car, would not be interested in any significant negative camber and already have an adapter to correct the speedometer if needed. Will these wheels work? Between the front and rear what issues might I run into? thanks! |

IMO, 18s are big. 19s are HUGE! 20s are for larger cars. Look through the gallery, IIRC there has only been 2 cars with 20s posted.
Want big wheels, get 19s. 245/30/19 is the propper diameter.

I strongly urge you to reconsider your plans, unless the only thing that matters to you is the way the car looks. Going with 20” wheels will effectively ruin your car’s performance and handling and, in my opinion, will look goofy, too. To each his own, but after reading countless posts from forum members seeking thoughts and opinions, this ranks up there as one of the worst ideas I’ve heard. Just saying...

I strongly support using minimum 22 inch wheels with no larger than 25 profile tyres, preferably with white walls

One should get 25" wheels. Just instead of tire roll around duct tape. Overall diameter will be close to stock, and car will be coolest in da neighborhood. If tape is applied with sticky side outside, then grip will be immense, car will stick to road like nothing else, and you'll win all track events! For drift skiddiness apply tape with sticky side inside though.
