But I can say my hubby is secure in his manliness then because he can cruise my FRS with cute little pillows and a pink skull faced Octopus in the back seat

not to mention the skull faced plushie bunny too

BTW I get the dirty looks from my fellow sisters in FRS too -sighs- don't matter if they are stock or modded either. I get more waves, thumbs up and just coolness from higher end cars and muscle car peeps than my own twins or BRZ peeps.

This past weekend snubbed by 1 silver BRZ in Rancho Mirage - just blew right past me - my best friend and I both went TEN, because we didn't have signs with us i.e. like judging at the Olympics or something and got a 'whatever' look from a Hot Lava FRS in Norco, so I gave it right back. BUT a man in a really nice old but clean 1970s ish Dodge Super Bee smiled at me and gave me a wave

and I gave him one too.

Just spotted a raven FR-S on Magnolia and Talbert. Threw the driver deuces but she just ignored me :[

Two way street though; except yesterday, all the other drivers I've seen ignore me.

That's really an unfair statement and probably why I'm an owner scorned due to owners such as yourself with that sort of attitude.

I actually get excited when I see another FRS or BRZ. When I first got mine I even chased a whiteout FRS down JUST TO GIVE a thumbs up and a wave and tell the person GREAT CAR and now he is a friend of mine and part of our C-86 crew.

Matter of fact it is my husband who told me just to stop giving props because I get so bummed when I get shunned which is pretty much 99.9% of the time.

Only wave to modded ones and you wont be so disappointed. Obviously if someone in a stockie waves...wave back lol. I usually get props from STI's.

Yeah, I think this is pretty much it. Unfortunately, I think there's some subset of owners who just aren't "car people" and just have it because of the looks. A damn shame.

On the other hand, sometimes I'm just oblivious myself because I'm enjoying the car.

Lowered and loud? If yes that was mine. I usually smile, shake my head or wave if I see the person looking.

I think it varies by the area as well. From Rowland Heights to Cerritos, out of let's say the dozen twins I see on the road only one or two of em are on the forums. I only get like 4 people wave back at me. Others give me weird looks/ignored/speed off. I consider my car still stock. I have the jdm clear sides, DRL mod, med/dark tint, perrin intake, and my Invidia N1.

I usually roll down my window to wave, but I just got my tint the day before, so I couldn't do it. lol

Just saw a white FRS, exhaust and wing on El Cajon Blvd. If you're on here, sorry man! I've been loaning the car to the wife and have been driving a BMW for awhile….window switches are in a different place. I locked my windows instead of rolling them down
