For what I get out of the paid subscription, I'm happy with it. Plus, I already picked up another subscription for half off the retail. And hey, Halo 5 could be coming to PC in the future.

Around the holidays, the subscription is pretty cheap.

I played the first 2 chapters, not bad.

I haven't played a FPS in a while, so still need time to adjust when I play online.

Right? This is the way I feel during Steam sales. I think I have 75 games that I haven't played yet.

The game has a good stand alone story no need to play the others.

Yes and no. Yes, because they were good games. The campaign's story isn't all that bad. 3 wasn't bad. 4 was pretty good. ODST isn't bad, you can skip though (just multiplayer focused game). Reach is the prequel to Halo Combat Evolved, but this was actually one of my favorite games in the series.
And as for "No," honestly if you have the time, I say you should dive into all of them. Otherwise, just go with Halo 4 and move onto 5.

So far Halo 5 has been great. Instead of running solo, now we're working with squads. The game is pretty damn smooth and fun. Have yet to jump into multiplayer yet, I still got plenty of missions to complete in campaign first.

If you're referring to the jump and hover while scoping, I don't think its dumb. It can be good, if you know what you're doing. And yeah, it can be turned off.

Decided to go solo on my first run. Then when I'm all done. I'll be going back for any other mission intel and skulls I missed. Hope you're okay with Heroic or Legendary settings.

I'll add you right now and a few others in a moment.

I read that you get special req pack for your spartan if you join a company on waypoint? Curious if anyone started one here or want to start one?
