Thinking of putting back stock exhaust

I have the greddy evo 3 installed with the nameless helmoltz DP and OFH. The sound is starting to get to me ( probably getting old ) and i was wondering if i put back the stock exhaust if there would still be a nice sound to it but not to loud? also would it hinder performance in any way????

Generally it should make the car much quieter.
However, how good/bad it will sound depends on the parts.

Another option, you could put the stock front pipe (dp) back on and keep the catback and see how that works out for you.

Performance, it shouldn't' really change anything because the catback doesn't gain much. 2-3whp + improved throttle response.

3rd option is like mine,
Keeping stock header and just running a catback + catless front pipe. I know for you this would be a difficult option for you though because you have felt the gains of a header haha

I have the Tomei UEL and OFT Stage 2 tune The rest of the exhaust is stock (except tips) and it is quiet except for the first 30 sec. on cold start. I had the TRD catback but sold it because it was too loud for me.

I wanted a flat four burble but only when pushing with an almost normal sound when cruising. I think I have it with the following:

Tomei UEL
Milltek OP
Berk fast cat
The rest is stock.

Note: it is loud when starting from cold.

Interesting question. I have only a nameless axle back and I'm contemplating putting the stock muffler back on for long road trips, to make the cabin quieter.

But first, I have to pry mrs humfrz away from our granddaughters long enough to take a long road trip ......

I've got a set up like this with a catted front pipe. I like it a lot. Leaving the stock midpipe helps keep the noise level down.

I have a full Borla exhaust wirh UEL catless header, well it was pretty loud so I put sound deadening material in the trunk doors and back above rear seat, much less exhaust noise. Since I did the doors the stock stereo sounds like an after market unit with upgraded speakers. The doors and rear above seat were Sound Skins precut to fit no fuss just install $250. But the trunk was roof flashing from Home Depot 2 roles $36, perfect. Worth a try before getting ride of you exhaust !!!
