IMO the ts wing looks ridiculous on a street car and just looks tacked on and boy racer on on top of that.

But hey to each his own, but take it from a guy whose almost 50 and seen all these kind of sells gimmicks before, think hard before you plunk your money down on bolt-ons. That are very questionable for a street car, and your return on investment is nill.
Finally, I was able to pull off TS for $30K.

I got my PP for $27k. I think the TS lists for $33k or so. I did add headers, OFT, RCE yellows, and MPSS tires to create a better overall, balanced car but that only set me back $2900 or so. Well spent money IMO, but I have no illusion I’ll get 1 extra dollar back when I sell and if anything I’ll loose value over a car that has the same PP package but stock.

In general, I agree. Stock car will always be worth more, even if you purchased a 3k Ace header and tune. Nobody likes to buy somebody’s modified car. The exception to that rule would be aftermarket tires.

I was offered 50th anniversary for $27K (60 miles) and still not sold as of today, but I opted for TS.

Or complete car tuned by well known companies like Tom's 280T , Litchfield Type 25...etc.

We’re well beyond apples to apples at this point to be of any useful comparison here. Though I understand your point.

How are you guys able to pull off TS for 30k? On the West Coast, remaining dealers with stock are only willing to let these go at MSRP...

Different markets most likely. East and West Coast seem to be big havens for these cars. None of the dealers around DC were moving much on price if they were selling for over MSRP. I walked out a little over 32K. Since they expect to find buyers, they likely aren't as hard pressed, as say Texas, where the majority of purchases are trucks.

But on the other hand, a local dealer has a White STi Type RA sitting for like 46K now beacause they can't move it. They ever painted the blade of the spoiler White to make it blend better -- don't hate it.

I ordered just the inserts for my series yellow, and they do not fit. the gap between the blades is just slightly too narrow. You can order the entire garnish from Japan Parts for like $200 for both, though.

edit, here's the link:

That's a fantastic price. All BRZ's listed here are pre-discount. That being said, I did a wide lookup with 500 miles. Living in SoCal, the demand is higher than most regions so I did consider driving to another region.

I also did research on factory rebate history over the past and mostly, it is just the financing rates that Subie give. Hopefully, the holidays will be kind.

How do we let FT86speedfactory know this, so maybe they can order and stock the full garnish, since the inserts are pointless?
