Also true, but I noticed not a lot of people are crazy enough to do what we do. People think it’s crazy that I got a shift knob with an sti logo for $120, but jdm. Lol

STI parts were more racing focused back in the '00s-'07s. Check some impreza 2nd generation parts here:

https://www.sti.jp/parts/impreza4door_gd/engine/

Lightweight flywheels
3-puck clutches with or w/o springs(!)
Mechanical LSDs

Now they are more road focused and a stickier brand.

Switching from WRC to Nurburgring 24 hr has made them more street driving focus instead, no longer the hardcore motorsports brand it once was to some degree. Seems very marketing driven as well (STI Sport trim across just about the entire JDM line-up like really??).

Remember this car?

Yes they look quite amazing. I ordered the black shark fin, but don’t see the fender piece anywhere. Here’s another pic of it. Much better than the other one.

I bought these STI wheel bags in medium size for my 17" wheel set / tires. When they arrive I realized why they are so expensive. Each bag has Japanese signage denoting the product is certified with the Japan Fire Retardant Association, along with cert registration number and QC stamping. Made in Japan.

The medium size bags should fit both the 17" and 18" sets / tires. They come in a large size as well.

BTW I checked my older set of STI rims, and I also don't see anywhere that says Made in Japan as well.
