Mine was pretty bad for a week or two but went away after a 3+hr drive. Now the clutch is smooth as butter. Sure it will blow soon enough

Ooo, that's much worse than mine.

I recently brought in my BRZ for a squeaky clutch too. It always squeaked at the bottom of travel after the transmission warmed up. What they did was adjust the clutch engagement point. Their technician stated that the clutch was out of adjustment and that off the factory line the assembly is "too tight".

So now the travel distance & feel of my clutch is completely different. The engagement point is near the bottom of travel unlike before where it was around the middle. Not anywhere remotely as much feedback as before. The travel distance went significantly down from whatever stock was down to 3.5". I measured this from the top of the pedal from bottom of travel to the top of travel. BUT, the squeak is gone.

Has anyone else had their dealership perform this fix? Any experiences you can share?

Looks like you found a decent mechanic.

Unfortunately it doesn't address this issue.

Mine started doing the same squeak as well at 22k miles. It comes and goes on it's own. I sprayed some white lithium grease on the push rod and it stopped for a couple of days but it's back again. I have a feeling that the clutch fork isn't lubricated enough. What I noticed is that when I push the push rod forward, the squeak completely goes away for some time. Any thoughts on that?

Dealer said that it sounded like a dry clutch fork. They are sending documents to Subaru corporate to approve the work to be covered under warranty - should be going in the shop this week. When asked them if it's ok to drive the car like that, they said it's fine.

P.s. after picking my car up that same day to fix the tail light condensation issue, the blower fan started making a slight noise. One thing after another but that's what warranties are for.

You say not as much feedback, but I'm assuming the feedback you do get is much better.

Where is should the clutch engagement point be? I literally just have to push my clutch down about half an inch for it to shift smoothly. Part of me doesn't feel like this is how it should be, but If i push down any further than tha tshifting becomes a hassle. Also, if I just push my clutch down any further, you can hear and feel the squeak. And to start the car, I have to go through the most ultimate sqeaks and crunch feel

My clutch pedal is also squeaking, honking, what have you, think mine is internal though in the pedal box inside the car, will investigate there first, add lube and tighten where necessary.

Grab the clutch fork and pull it forward to compress the slave.

Hold the pin compressed and jiggle the fork back and forth like you're freeing up an old pair of pliers. Does that do the trick?

Will try in the next few days thanks, like I said though sounds like it's inside the cabin.

Haha... couldn't resist.

But seriously, I've heard a few including mine. They all sound like they're inside. The vibration is tightly coupled through the hydraulics and the firewall is thin enough that it effectively becomes the speaker.
