I'm sure if you laid down a sleeping bag or something it would be tolerable. I've slept in the passenger front seat, back seats, and trunk of my Jetta. Trunk was most comfortable for me, amazing what will do the job when you're tired.

I'm 5'8". I didn't pull anything, but fetal position is needed, and the back of the rear seats have NO padding. Passenger seat all the way.

Some serious bullshit. In North Carolina it's not quite that strict. They'll give you a DUI for sitting in the driver's seat (in a parked car) with the engine running. Keys in the ignition with engine on while you're sitting in the passenger seat - that I'm not sure about.

And I was warned of this while in college - have never had any bad situations like the above.
