Anyone recommend a place in the GTA that can clean off the salt and dirt from the carpet??

I use rubber covers all winter so I avoid all of that entirely <_<

I have the weathertechs

However, some of the salt managed to settle around the bolts that hold down the seat and the gas cover release button. Will try to use the water and vinegar method!

Citric acid works too instead of vinegar. And more pleasant smelling to most people. You can get it at whole foods, etc.

Yep. I use a 50/50 solution of citric acid and water. Just saturate the cloth, dab with a towel and repeat until it's gone.

Used the vinegar + water method and managed to get 90% of it off!

Any suggestions on how to get stubborn salt stains off?? Tried spraying it three times and leaving it on for 5 - 10 mins

Use a higher concentration of vinegar or citric acid and make your solution hot

Can't tell you how to clean it up, but I can tell you how to avoid it.

I put newspapers under my oem weatherproof floor mats. I also sit down and shake my boots/shoes against each other before bringing my legs in. Make sure you don't put such a thick layer that it starts to obstruct the pedals.

One of my pet peeves is when people get into my car with a sole full of snow and don't shake them off first.
