It isn't but you have to balance it with is it worth it, particularly as you get older. Other than a very technical skill or something like medicine, an undergrad degree is really about learning how to learn more than anything else. Once you've started down the career path and have your first job, a degree may not buy you anything.

Experience trumps degrees unless there is certification where the degree matters.

I left college, cuz I didn't know what degree I wanna major in and didn't want to waste my time or money. Got AS and left college fast as I can. Now over a decade later, I've figured what I'm interested in & wanna do. Might be worth going back and get a degree to make my resume pretty and look for a job that I wanna do... & if you guys are wondering, no there's no such job called "ban hammering members". If I was, I'll prob be rich by now lmao
I would urge you to pursue your higher degree.

I was into my masters program when Uncle Sam said "come here boy", I want you now, accept this commission now or I'll draft your ass. After I got off active duty, I took several graduate courses but never finished my masters degree.

mrs humfrz has her masters degree and my son and daughter have their masters degrees. It appears that each generation can benefit from the next higher degree.

Go for it -

I'm looking into Human Resource Management. Sadly to get into those area, need at least BA in HRM. To add my mother work for online college (still) & I get 50% off tuition, so mind as well use that benefit to full potential.

I'll have a bald 225/45 A048 soon. yea bigger, but if I do go that route, I'm certainly not going to buy a new tire.

Funny enough, I bought the BRZ no too long after...
In a way it's true. I mean it's more customer service than anything for me unless something goes wrong with the plane. Most of the days I'm a glorified limo driver. But I make decent money and meet lots of celebs... I used to program computers. That was more rewarding on a logical level. Ironic thing is that's how I paid for my flight training. In computers I'm unlicensed, uncertified, and unethical, lol. The degree and the flight training was a way to burn money. Now it's my full-time job. A hobby spun out-of-control. No pun intended.
