RR Racing BBK
I finally had time to install my RR Racing BBK and wow it is nice. it is a stage 2 front and stage 4 rear with BP20's. my only gripe about it is that the pads don't have full contact on the whole rotor surface so the inner-most area of the rotor still has the coating. I plan on upgrading my fronts to the stage 4 rotors once I need to replace the current ones.
the install was pretty straight forward. I finished everything in about a day with breaks in between. I did have to bleed the brakes on the next day though since I did not have the correct sized tubing for the bleed screws and the stores were closed when I reached that point originally. for anyone wondering, I bought a 10ft roll of 1/4" clear vinyl tubing with an ID of .170". it was about $3 from Home Depot. the rear dust shields also had to be cut in order to fit the rotor and caliper. I just used a hand shear that I got for $9 and it worked fine. of course I also sanded it down after so I don't cut myself later on down the line if I ever needed to reach back there. another thing I wanted to note is that the brakes barely clear my 17x8 +45 RPF1's. the closest point between the caliper and wheel spoke is about 2mm-3mm but it does clear. I will see over time if heat expansion does affect the caliper to the point of where it would make contact with the spoke. so far, the upgrade is currently "bling" factor but next month when I go to the track I will see how well it performs compared to my old setup of Winmax W5, Spiegler lines, RT700, and stock rotors. I currently am using ProSpeed RS683 which is identical to RT700 (RT700 was discontinued). with just street driving and while bedding in the pads, the pedal was firm but easy to modulate. there was some brake noise but that is normal until everything is fully bedded in. here are some pictures:

New suspension setup
it's time to change up my suspension. I bought Feal 441 "road race" spec coilovers with Velox rear LCA's and toe arms. I have a thing for the gold color so it just seemed right to get gold LCA's and toe arms.
as for the Feal coilovers, they're decent so far from what I can tell. I still need to get a proper alignment since I just eyeballed it, but I'm waiting a few weeks for that. however, I can feel all of the imperfections in the road with the car being compliant as well (and I am not lying about all; every single imperfection is noticeable due to the high spring rate lol). take what you will from that, but I have yet to test it out on the track to see how good it actually behaves at the limit. for now, here are some pictures:
