I always enjoy hearing about Ichis' eavesdropped car conversations!
This is what happens when the Automotive-Shop program is dropped from a school. I'm really glad I got to be in one (it was scrapped 2 years after I graduated). Most informative and real world applicable senior course I took, no question. |

Kids these days are dumb, and plenty of adults too. They look at some numbers and read some stereotypes and they instantly make judgements about cars.
I feel like us ZC6/ZN6 owners will be subject to that too, the Scion owners in particular. Too many people have a given Scion a bad stigma and will call the FR-S "a teenager's car" or a "ricer". Subaru has some known racing heritage, so I suppose it won't be as bad. I can't wait til people come up to me and tell me, "2 Liter? 200HP? A 4-Cylinder? This is 2012! Even my mother's Camry has 300HP!" They'll never know True Handling Delight.

Sooo, after talking to my dad awhile, he is kinda convincing me to buy later. And have bit more focus on going to school, both physically and financially.
I can't say he's wrong, so I am starting to second guess my decision to buy... Who knows though...

Yeah I know what's that's like but heck I'll be in my late 20 soon I should be able to afford my own car. Then again... FRS/BRZ would be the 3rd car I've purchased. Hopefully with go experience, so far it been like the currents up and down and the car isn't even out yet. I'm sure it's like this for everyone.

For me it's affordability, having something never really seen before or rare (FR boxer layout), the fact so much passion went into the car, etc.
