Picked up a bottle of Meguiar's Quik Detail, drove home, and got to work on some bird poop/bug splatter spots.

I think I was too late for the bug splatter areas. The worst of it came off but now there are small, bright green lines about a quarter of an inch long or so that won't come out even with the Quik Detail stuff.

Might have gotten into the clear coat already.

Ahhh..

Just realized I only got the spray bottle, not a clay bar kit with the bottle.

Probably should've gone with the kit instead, unless I can just use any clay bar and the quik detailer stuff as lubricant.

Yeah, you can use any clay with any quick detail spray. The problem is that you will be hard pressed to find a place selling just a clay bar w/o the quick detail spray at retail. At least I haven't been able to.
